What is the nature of "good"? The nature of good is to slow you down. For better or for worse a good task is always more challenging than a bad one. Realistically there are three types of people, there are good, evil, and passive people. There needs to be a neutral to make that "fine line" between evil and good, the fine line that is argued upon by the good and evil people. To be a good person you need to go out of your way to perform socially acceptable tasks, i say socially acceptable because what you believe to be morally good may not be so appealing to someone else so it may not be characterized as an act of "good". To be evil is easier, because i havent characterized passive activity as being "evil" there is still and act required to be precieved as evil.
The characterization of good and evil is the main problem, evil people can do good things and the same goes for good people doing bad things but the fact that we sum up peoples lives based on a few actions is the error of our existance. So i've gotten slightly off topic but regardless to me the yet of good or better yet the sense of a good act is to get ahead because there is no such thing as a selfless act only to get a head in life in a socially acceptable manner and we all want to get ahead in life.

ReplyDeleteNice job buddy, i agree on how you said "Evil people can do good things and good people can do evil things" I thought that was a very good point.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you not in class? Are you ill?
ReplyDeleteNicely done. I am agree with you on what you had said. I mean, there is no one living in this world perfectly "good" or "evil", even "good" people would do "evil" things.
ReplyDeleteThe minimum amount of blogs have not been completed.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am fully aware that you find this course "boring", as evidenced by your lack of attendance and walking out of the class when you do show up. Overlooking the fact that I am a little bit hurt by that, this is not doing you any good. If you are not planning on attendibng and doing the work, then you need to make a wise decision.
